The 4th Grand Master- (Bernard De Tremelay)
Bernard DE Tramelay (died sixteen August 1153) was the fourth Grand Master of the Knights knight. He was born within the castle of Tramelay close to Saint-Claude within the Jura. in step with Du Cange, he succeeded an explicit Hugues as Master of the Temple, though this Hugues is otherwise unknown. He was nonappointive Grand Master in Gregorian calendar month 1151, once the abdication of Everard des Barres, WHO had came to France following the Crusade. King Baldwin III of Jerusalem granted him the ruined town of Gaza Strip, that physiologist restored for the Templars. In 1153 the Templars participated within the Battle of Ascalon, a defence at that point controlled by Egypt. The Templars made a besieging tower, that was burned down by the Egyptian troopers within Ascalon. The wind caught the flames and a part of the walls of Ascalon burned down likewise.
